these are hands down the best swaddling blankets. they are large and square and stretch really well, which helps for a tight swaddle. i buy these for all my friends for their baby showers. to me, they are a must have item and something you will use daily for the first few months of you baby's life.

We LOVE these blankets. I was skeptical because they were so expensive, but boy are they fantastic! They are very large, so they are perfect for all kinds of things. My 6mo old still needs to be swaddled when he has a hard time falling asleep, and these blankets can still do the job easily. It did take a little practice to swaddle with them when he was a newborn because they're so large, but once you get the hang of it they work beautifully. We pretty much immediately abandoned all our other swaddling blankets and used these exclusively--while I'd like more, a 4 pack is working fine. They are light enough weight to use in colder or warmer weather, unlike the flannel ones which were often too hot even in the winter. We also use them for playing on the floor, protecting him from the sun in his stroller, wiping spit up, you name it. They are extremely soft and high quality and don't seem to stain easily, tear, etc. One thing to remember, they do shed little white lint balls at first. We had to wash them several times (6-8?) before they really stopped, but for us that was not a big problem. And the payoff is so worth it. I know I sound like I'm exaggerating, but honestly these were my single favorite (and most used) baby item that we registered for. They really are that useful. The zoo print is very cute too, nicer than the pics make it seem. Overall, great blankets! 

Great for swaddling

I ordered these on recommendation for my newborn who loved to be swaddled. They have been a lifesaver during the hot summer months when a blanket has been too heavy. They're such a generous size that I've been able to keep him swaddled as he grows. Don't know how I lived without them for my other 2! 

Perfect for swaddling!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these blankets! Great price for 4 of the most useful and perfect blankets. Our baby girl is a master at getting out of her swaddle, until I purchased these... they are big enough that you can really wrap it tight and she has not been able to wiggle her way out of them, plus they are very lightweight and breathable so I do not worry about her overheating in a swaddle in 90 degree weather. We use these blankets for everything... car seat cover, blanket on the go, blanket in the swing, blanket while we change her diaper... you name it, we use them. They wash up perfectly and I just cannot say enough about these! 

Indispensible for a swaddled baby!

 We received these as a baby shower gift and while I had heard good things about A & A had no idea how wonderful these are. For our summer baby who runs hot, they are the perfect weight to keep her snugly wrapped without overheating like she can in the standard flannel swaddling blankets. They also pack small in the diaper bag and are light enough to drape over the car seat when outside between the car and inside destination to keep the sun off her face without smothering her.

Must-have baby item

 These blankets are by far my favorite swaddling blankets and have become one of my staple baby shower gifts.
First, they are HUGE. Our son was 8 1/2 pounds when he was born and grew out of regular swaddling blankets within a couple of weeks. These are big enough that even the most inexperienced swaddlers can't mess it up and they kept the baby warm without overheating him.
They also make perfect nursing covers because they're big enough to cover things up without having to deal with the hassle of looping something around your neck like a lot of nursing covers. The muslin keeps the blanket from sliding off your shoulder or the baby and is light enough that the fabric breathes.
They're on the expensive side, but totally worth the cost; you'll get years of use out of them.
