Muslin swaddling blankets are just the best! These were the perfect swaddlers for my kiddos when they were tiny. They work so well to help regulate body temperature year-round. I really have used these in all the ways people suggest - as carseat cover, sunshade, nursing drape, mama scarf, swaddling cloth, dress-up superhero cape, mini-tent in the living room, picnic blanket, burp cloth, changing pad cover, towel, and (last but not least) blanket. My twins are two years old now and LOVE these. They're ideal for use at daycare, since they're the perfect size for a toddler cot and often have a design different from all the other kids'. I buy Aden + Anais swaddlers for all my expectant friends and have amassed quite a collection of my own!
Great & love them BUT
These muslin wraps are my second pair and I still love them but am a little dissapointed because they are even thinner than my last pair. And I do love them because they are thin, breathable but these are just way too thin. It's muslin cotton also but just different. I bought them off Amazon but the vendor was Dainty Baby Inc. My first order was from a different vendor (it could have been directly from Amazon too, I just can't remember)but I think the first pack was much better and as I said I still love those too, but I wish they were exactly the same ones. At least that's what I was expecting ...
Soft, snuggly & high quality
I recieved my 4-pack swaddle blankets 2days after ordering and am so glad I didn't have to wait any longer to use them with my 5 month old daughter. The muslin cotton has a silky smooth texture in which I trust next to my baby's delicate skin. They are breathable and lightweight enough for her to snuggle up with at night without worrying and are great to use as a shade on our stroller during sunny days. I recommend these to any mother who feels quality and comfort are worth the little bit of added cost! They are the BEST!
lovely, soft, versatile cloths
These are marvelous swaddle cloths that continue to be useful for years after one stops swaddling. They are expensive and trendy, so I hesitated for a long time before buying them, but now I realize I should have gotten them from the beginning of my baby's life. They're generously sized, soft, durable, breathable, and have cute animals printed on them. They compress to a tiny size so are perfect for the diaper bag; you can take them along for impromptu uses as a swaddle cloth, a sunshade, or a clean space for playing on the floor or ground, for example.
The best!
These are at the very top of our must-have's for baby. LOVE these blankets. They are so big, traditional swaddle blankets are far too small and practically out grown by the time you get baby home from the hospital. And the swaddlers with velcro, ha! Baby can get those off in no time. So many people say their little one didn't like to be swaddled. Babies LOVE to be swaddled when it's done right, nice and tight, it's soothing like being in the womb. They like to press against it and feel the firmness, it's like a soothing touch all over (as explained in the book, The Happiest Baby on the Block). These blankets are the way to do it! It does take practice, the blankets are so big it can be awkward. My husband is better at it than I am. I absolutely adore these blankets and cannot imagine soothing our baby to sleep without them. I also love that the fabric is breathable if it ever were to get loose and in his face. The prints are so sweet as well. I can't endorse them enough! Worth every penny!
