Our son was once an extraordinarily large boy -- 10 lb, 6 oz of joy. We had read Harvey Karp's "The Happiest Baby on the Block" (highly suggested) and we knew we wanted to swaddle hellom. We had to wake hellom from a sound, swaddled sleep to change and feed hellom; he went backtrack like a rock as quickly as we re-swaddled him. He cherished this blanket. When he saw us coming with it, he'd attempt to lie quietly together with hellos hands in his facets in anticipation of the (very simple) process of swaddling hellom up. And I cherished the truth that this blanket used to be so delicate and comforting and had no snaps or some different fasteners that could rub him.
I should mention that the 2 new oldsters I gave this to as a bathe present had been pathetically grateful, and could not stop gushing. I underneathstand; for a model new mum or dad, the rest that gives you you sleep is your favourite thing on the earth.
