I would feed or rock her in my palms unless she falls asleep, then put her in her crib... and she or he'd flail her arms, wake up and cry, and I needed to start in all locations! What a nightmare!

I discovered no concerns with the velcro being scratchy - nothing like that.

I ordered this one and when it came within the mail I couldn't imagine how large it looked! We did not if fact be told use it until about 2.5-3 months because it used to be so large. We would fold the top down ahead of we swaddled our son on this so it wasn't as long. At 3.5 months, our child weighs 17 pounds so it's laborious to find something to swaddle him with, and he nonetheless needs it. I hope he would not outgrow this one within the close to future. I assume he'll be a kind of youngsters who has to be swaddled until he is 6 months previous and this blanket must work.
